This is my story of getting out of Muirhouse - it's a story of how a young boy bridled by poverty got out of there and moved on to better things whilst never forgetting the wonderful community he once called home.

Growing up in Muirhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland was completely normal, I didn't know any better however I always knew I wanted better.

The Aids capital of Europe in the 80's and home to the movie Trainspotting are just a few of the unflattering titles Muirhouse was given but to me and my friends it was just 'Muirhoose'

I dreamed of being a millionaire, I dreamed of a life of luxury, freedom and abundance, This book is my journey to that place....
